A球からM球に変わる事を考え、打撃に特化した練習を実施。

立岩のロングティー

硬式野球経験者は軟式野球の対応に苦労する傾向があった。それはボールにスピンをかける打ち方をしてしまう事が原因と考えられる。草野球では硬式野球上がりの選手より、長年草野球を経験しているオッチャンの方が怖かったりする。

そのため、「軟式野球の戦い方」なんて言葉もある。これまでは実力差があっても、戦い方次第ではジャイアントキリングができた。でも、A球からM変わることで、その逆転が起こりにくくなると私は思う。

A球からM球に変わる事で起きる攻守の変化

M球への変更は硬式野球への移行をスムーズに行うことが目的だった。なので、その逆の硬式野球から軟式野球への移行もしやすくなるだろう。

打撃面ではボールの硬さが変わる事から、スピンをかけた打球が有効になってくる。硬式野球のスイングの感覚のままプレーできるだろう。A球の時は複合バットもあり、当てるだけでも遠くに飛ばすことができた。しかし、M球の場合は遠くに飛ばす為にはしっかりとしたスイングでなければ長打を打つことが難しくなるのだろう。

守備面ではA球はバウンドが不規則なため、どんな上手い選手でも転がせばエラーする可能性があった。しかし、M球は硬式に近い跳ね方をするので、守備力の差が顕著に出ると思う。守備のポジショニングも硬式野球に近くなるだろう。特にサードとショートの守備は重要になる。

攻守ともに選手の実力差が試合に出る可能性が高い。

打撃力の強化！4時間のバッティング練習

勝ち上がる為には今よりも基礎能力の向上をしなければならない。そこで先週末は5時間の練習を実施。この日は打撃練習に特化。1時間はアップとキャッチボールのみで、後は全て打撃練習を行いました。

特に力を入れたのはロングティー。３箱をノルマに振り込みました。
曽根のロングティーとにかく全力でフルスイング。飛ばす感覚を養うためと振る力をつけることが目的です。

頭師ロングティー特に目立っていたのが立岩選手。
昨年、島根県代表で全国大会に出場した立岩選手ですが規格外の飛距離でした。ロングティーで柵超えを連発。全国レベルを見せつけてくれました。

しかし、ロングティーの弊害として、新しく購入したM球を大量に無くすこととなりました…

そして、最後はカウント１−１から実践形式でシートバッティング。ここでも立岩選手はホームランを連発していました。


立岩選手がいい見本となり、後輩に飛ばし方のポイントなど色々指導もしてくれていました。
充実した打撃練習ができました。

まとめ

M球に対応した打撃が強くなるポイントでしょう。2月からは練習試合も予定されています。この冬に基礎能力を上げて、今年こそチーム一丸で優勝を目指します。

来週は投手陣メインの練習を計画しています。
